Using Apple Pay for Club Memberships

Due to technical limitations with the way Apple Pay interacts with our system, we've noticed that using Apple Pay to sign up customers for club memberships can sometimes result in duplicate accounts being created. This can cause some serious headaches for our customers so in order to prevent any potential problems, we're asking all team members to refrain from using Apple Pay when signing customers up for club memberships. Instead, please use our standard checkout process (credit cards, etc) to ensure that each customer is only assigned one account.

If you happen to come across a customer who has used Apple Pay in the past to sign up for club membership and now has multiple accounts, please reach out to Evan immediately. He will work with the customer to properly refund any charges and we can then resolve the issue as a team.
